This website is run by me, Daniel DeForest. I keep personal information to a minimum and use it only to reply to you.

What I collect

If you send an inquiry through the contact form, I receive your name, your email address, your gallery or organization (if you give one), the nature of your inquiry, and your message. The same applies if you email me directly.

How I use it

I use these details only to read and reply to your inquiry. I don’t add you to a mailing list, and I never sell or share your information with anyone else.

How long I keep it

Messages are kept in my email inbox for as long as they’re needed for our correspondence. You can ask me to delete them at any time.

Cookies and tracking

This website doesn’t use cookies, analytics, or advertising trackers.

Services this website uses

The site is hosted by DreamHost, whose servers keep standard technical logs (such as IP addresses) to run and secure the site. The typefaces are loaded from Google Fonts, so your browser connects to Google’s servers when a page loads.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct, or delete any personal information I hold about you by emailing hello@danieldeforest.com. If you’re in the UK and unhappy with how your information has been handled, you can contact the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk).
